What Melbourne Says About Tailored Blinds.
“I've been looking for ways to elevate our living area, and after some research (and a recommendation to add sheer curtains to soften the space), I came across Tailored Blinds. I reached out to Jason and received a response within 24 hours. We quickly organised a consultation, where he measured the space, showed me a range of colours and fabrics, and shared examples from previous installations. Within an hour of leaving, he had already sent through a quote, which was so reasonable that I booked straight away. The curtains arrived in just three weeks, and Jason and his wife came out to install them. The installation took around 90 minutes, and the result was incredible. The sheer curtains have completely transformed our living area, adding softness, warmth, and beautiful natural light. The quality is exceptional, and I absolutely love how the space feels now. What impressed me most was the value for money. I had compared several DIY curtain options, and Tailored Blinds was extremely competitive on price while also including professional measuring and installation. If you're considering adding curtains or blinds to your home, I highly recommend Tailored Blinds. The service, quality, and pricing exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with the result.”
“I had experience used Tailored Blinds to replace my unit apartment blinds recently. From single blinds to double blinds. I was happy from beginning Jason did measurements and gave me affordable price, on time delivery and installation. very good quality product and over all excellent. I personally recommend.”
“Our experience with Jason at Tailored Blinds has been very positive and they have exceeded our expectations. Jason has been so approachable and friendly, and was very attentive to our needs and questions. We were particularly anxious about the length of the curtains and the type of sheer and he made sure that our needs were met. We were assured by the service as he ensured he took detailed measurements to ensure it falls neatly and evenly across the floor. We had previous negative experience where curtains may not hang evenly with others but so are very happy with the result of the curtains and treatment across our rooms.”
“Jason and his team did an amazing job helping us select and install the perfect window furnishings for our home. Jason was very responsive and accommodating to all our requests and changes throughout the process. Highly recommend!”
“Jason and the team were fantastic. We loved the outcome of the sheer curtain. Their attention to details were incredible.”
“Highly recommend Jason from Tailored Blinds! From start to finish, Jason was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was always prompt with replies, punctual to every appointment, and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. He took the time to listen to all our needs and concerns, patiently answered every question, and gave the best advice without ever making us feel rushed. His pricing was very competitive, and the quality of the block out curtains exceeded our expectations. Jason is extremely professional and clearly takes great pride in delivering the best possible service and workmanship. We are so happy with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for quality blinds and curtains!”
“Fantastic work by Jason and team. Really competitive pricing and very quick turnaround to get my plantation shutters installed, that really stand out. Highly recommend Tailored Blinds.”
“Reliable, premium quality roller blinds both block out and sunscreen, quick turn around, professional service! Perfect way to upgrade our living space in Box Hill South.”

“Found on Facebook and decided to get a measure and quote. Easy process, Jason replied promptly, came out the very next day and provided a quote that afternoon. Price was very competitive and had a quick turn around. Roller blinds look amazing and really modernise the home, will recommend to all our Doncaster friends and neighbours.”
“Fantastic service and really great outcome. Couldn’t be happier with the custom blinds and curtains that we got for our home across the different rooms”
“I couldn’t be happier with the new blinds for my patisserie. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the whole process was smooth and professional. Jason was always friendly, helpful, and paid incredible attention to detail. We have very large windows, and they handled everything perfectly. They even custom-made certain parts to ensure the blinds suited our interior beautifully, which I truly appreciated. The blinds are beautifully made, fit perfectly, and have completely transformed our space. I especially love how well the color complements the interior. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality blinds and exceptional service. Thank you ♥️”
“I had such a great experience with the Tailored team. I found them through Instagram and reached out to book an appointment and get some advice on blinds for my home. Jason was really helpful and easy to deal with. After seeing the range of honeycomb blinds, I knew they were the right choice. The installation has now been completed and I’m so happy with the result. The colour looks perfect in the room, the installation was smooth, and the whole space feels so much more beautiful and comfortable, yet functional. Thank you again, Jason, for the excellent service from start to finish. I’ll definitely be recommending Tailored to my friends and family!”
“100% recommend Jason and team. They are so easy to communicate with, very responsive and respectful of our time and the complexities of us settling in our new house. He saw the urgency of having our blinds sorted asap, he got to work measuring and was very patient while we chose the right fabric and colours, and was even more patient when we changed our minds a few times after that. We got our beautiful blinds (my favourite is the sheer blinds!) installed in less than 2 weeks and our sheer curtains the following week. 4 months in, we (and our dog) still admire how beautiful it is!!”
“I got sheer curtains installed for my house in Doncaster and Jason was responsive, friendly and much cheaper than the other quotes I got. Definitely recommend!!”
“We had a great experience with our blinds installation. Jason was professional, friendly, and worked efficiently. The whole process was smooth, and the installation was completed quickly without any issues. We’re really happy with the quality of the work and how everything turned out. Highly recommend their service!”
“We recently had shutters installed and couldn’t be happier with the service Jason provided. He was efficient, punctual, and very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. He was was also transparent about timelines and costs, which we really appreciated. A smooth and stress-free experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering shutters.”
“Quick turn around, competitive pricing, excellent professional service. Will recommend for anyone looking for custom blinds in Melbourne's east!”
“We decided to go with Tailored Blinds after engaging with multiple curtains and blinds companies in Melbourne. Best decision ever! My parents, who have high standards were very impressed with the quality of the curtains and blinds and the top notched service that they received. The entire process from getting a quote, deciding on colours/materials to installing everything was easy and stress free. Jason was always punctual, professional and pleasant. He even came out on a Sunday to accomodate my parents' needs. His workmanship was amazing with a lot of attention to details. You can see that he truly enjoys what he is doing with that level of passion and enthusiasm. We did not have high expectations initially because of the faster turnaround they offered compared to other companies. But to our surprise, everything was not only delivered in a timely manner as promised, but also of very high standards. The new curtains and blinds have given my parents' old house in Box Hill a complete makeover! We were very lucky to have found Tailored blinds from Facebook and cannot recommend highly enough of this new curtain company and their first class service :)”
“I had a really great experience with this blinds company and I’m super happy with how everything turned out. The quality is excellent and you can tell everything is well made. What impressed me most was how fast they got it all done, especially since it was on short notice that was a huge help. The roller blinds look great and work perfectly, and I’m really happy with the fly screens and security doors as well. They all fit well and do exactly what they’re meant to, while also making the house look much better overall. Everything feels neat, modern, and finished properly. Overall, the whole process was easy and stress-free, and the end result looks awesome. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for good quality products, quick turnaround, and a company that delivers exactly what they promise.”

Frequently asked questions about custom blinds, curtains and shutters
What happens at the free in-home consultation?
We visit your home with samples, measure your windows precisely and talk you through clear recommendations and pricing. Because you see the fabrics and finishes in your own space and light, you can choose with confidence.
Are your blinds, curtains and shutters made to measure?
Yes. Every product is made to measure for your specific windows, not cut down from a standard size. Accurate measurement is the foundation of every job, which is where the Tailored name comes from.
What’s the difference between sheer and blockout?
Sheer fabrics filter daylight, reduce glare and keep a soft view of the outdoors. Blockout fabrics give you privacy and strong light control, which suits bedrooms and media rooms. Many homes use both, and dual roller blinds combine the two in one.
Should I choose timber or PVC plantation shutters?
Both give you the privacy, insulation and timeless look of plantation shutters. We’ll recommend the right material for each room and your style at your consultation.
Can blinds and curtains be motorised?
Yes. Tailored Blinds supplies motorised roller blinds and curtains for effortless everyday control. It’s especially useful for large windows, high windows and hard-to-reach spots. Ask us at your consultation about the best option for your home.
Which suburbs do you service?
We service Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs, including Box Hill, Balwyn, Camberwell, Doncaster, Blackburn, Glen Waverley, Hawthorn, Kew, Malvern, Toorak and surrounding areas. Submit the form and we’ll confirm availability for your suburb.
